By signing in to Smartcall app via phone number we will upload your phone number to our servers in order to send you sms with code to activate the app. Also, we will inform other Smartcall users that this phone number has just jointed Smartcall app (only if phone number is included on the contact list).
To download and install our Smartcall App you have to provide us with your phone number so that we can access your mobile device’s address book. A copy of your contact list ( phone numbers and namesfrom your device’s contact list ) is kept on our servers and is used by us for the following purposes:
to notify you when any of your contacts download and install the Smartcall App
to show contacts who are Smartcall users
to display contact names when you receive a call via the Smartcall App
