NPO Doshdik Japan

NPO Doshdik Japan

Non-profit organisation supporting children's education, women's empowerment, and disability inclusion in Bangladesh through Japan–Bangladesh collaboration.

Bangladesh is one of the world's most densely populated countries, with approximately 160 million people living in an area roughly 40% the size of Japan. Despite government efforts to promote IT, education, and foreign investment, significant challenges persist: deep-rooted poverty, gaps in access to education, limited women's rights, barriers for people with disabilities, and natural disasters that continue to hinder economic development.

DOSHDIK JAPAN was established as a certified non-profit organisation (NPO) to address these challenges through Japan–Bangladesh collaboration, building trust and recognition by working alongside Japanese citizens, Bangladesh residents in Japan, and civic organisations.

Our Mission

We work in collaboration with Japanese citizens, Bangladesh residents living in Japan, and civic organisations to ensure that every child has access to education and to build a society where women and people with disabilities can fully contribute their abilities. Through educational support, women's empowerment programmes, and disability inclusion initiatives, Doshdik Japan strives to create lasting positive change.

  • Children's Education Support

Supporting access to quality education for children in Bangladesh, regardless of economic circumstances. We work to ensure no child is left behind, providing educational resources and support to underserved communities.

  • Women's Empowerment

Supporting women's independence, economic participation, and rights in Bangladesh. Through skills training, awareness programmes, and advocacy, we work to create equal opportunities and a society where women can reach their full potential.

  • Disability Support

Operating facilities and programmes for people with disabilities in Bangladesh, helping them contribute their abilities to society. We advocate for an inclusive society where every person has dignity and the opportunity to participate fully in community life.
